Well, the hunt for all three of things has proved to be a long and not at all prosperous one for the Gunners and perhaps the trident of reasons as to why the latter part of Arsene Wenger’s reign have been largely barren.
However, the nature of the summer transfer window provides fresh optimism for all the North London locals who frequent our halls.
Such a feeling could come in their reported chase of a formidable Serie A defender who has big linked with major moves to Chelsea and Manchester United.
According to Italian journalist Emanuele Giulianelli, Arsene Wenger has reignited his interest in Roma ace Kostas Manolas as he bids to introduce more steel into his defence.

The 25-year old would represent a solid signing for Wenger, after emerging as one of the stoic stoppers on the continent thanks to his exploits in the Italian capital last term.
