With Arsenal facing a tough challenge on their Premier League return as they face Manchester City, the nerves and excitement are building around the fan base. But it looks like the players are raring to go and Saed Kolasinac looks eager to return to the pitch if his recent Instagram post is anything to go by.
The left-back was in and out of the starting eleven due to both injury and manager Mikel Arteta favouring Bukayo Saka in that position whilst Kieran Tierney has been injured. Kolasinac has still managed 17 appearances though picking up two assists, but the last fixture he started was on the 11th of January.
Clearly he is itching to start again as his post is a picture of him in a new training kit, supported with the caption, ‘®️ESTART! 💥 New training kit! 🔥 Can‘t wait! 👊🏻 #GibGäs #SeoKol @premierleague’

Even though supporters might prefer Kolasinac to not start the fixture, as he has fallen out of favour as the number one left-back, they should still be pleased to see posts like this. It suggests that the Bosnian is raring to go, hoping to represent the Gunners and it shows that morale around the squad looks high and highlights that they are up for the City fixture.
It’s going to be a tough game away at the Etihad and many will be watching the game, but with the three month break, there is no knowing how the match will go.
Gunners fans, do you think Kolasinac still has a part to play in this fixture? Comment below!
