Newcastle United will be desperate to climb up the table and into the top half this season, with a successful January transfer window certainly helping their cause.
The Magpies got off to a poor start under Rafa Benitez as they struggled to secure their first three points of the campaign, but times have changed since then as things are looking up for Newcastle United.
However, with the January transfer window right around the corner, Mike Ashley and Benitez will already have a number of players in mind to boost their chances of avoiding relegation and climbing up the table.
All of the pressure is on Ashley as he could come under fire if he doesn’t get things spot on.
With that in mind, Ashley would be digging himself into a Newcastle grave by not signing these TWO players…
MIGUEL ALMIRON

Miguel Almiron has established himself as one of the hottest topics in world football this season, with his performances over in the MLS attracting the attention of Premier League clubs.
The Magpies could definitely benefit from having the South American in their side as they’ve lacked creativity in the final third and struggle to feed the final ball.
So, Ashley must put his selfish ways behind him by splashing the cash on the attacking midfielder.
GARRY RODRIGUES

The 27-year-old has enjoyed an incredible season in the Turkish Super Lig for Galatasaray last time out as he produced 10 goals and provided 11 assists for his teammates. And, he has looked just as promising in the current campaign, with three goals to his name at this moment in time.
Newcastle United currently have Matt Ritchie struggling to ensure consistency on a regular basis and Christian Atsu looking ineffective during limited appearances, so they simply have to swoop in for the 27-year-old winger.
