Responding to a post by Aston Villa’s official club account, many supporters have become divided over Chelsea loanee Danny Drinkwater’s performances this campaign – taking to Twitter and voicing their opinions over the 30-year-old.
Drinkwater, who has registered an 89% pass accuracy from inside his own half during his time at the Villans (SofaScore), is currently dividing opinion among the fan base due to the fact he’s barely played since signing on loan from Chelsea. The Englishman, enduring his second loan spell of the season after a temporary stint at Burnley, has played just five games for Dean Smith’s side since January – putting real question marks over the notion of a permanent deal.
Part of Leicester City’s famous 2015/2016 title-winning team, where he partnered Chelsea teammate N’Golo Kante in midfield, Drinkwater could still prove his worth if given the opportunity – but these Villa fans are divided over how likely that is. Find all of their best comments down below.
Have a good one Danny, have the rest of the season off!

He is a villa player, is it so hard to get behind the guy?

Can’t believe how much stick the lad gets, Villa fans have always said, “just work hard and fight that’s all we ask” every time he’s played I’ve seen him fight for every ball and try and get on the ball as much as he can.
