Responding to a post by account Aston Villa news, many supporters have been gushing over the prospect of a starting partnership between strikers Mbwana Samatta and Keinan Davis – with one fan in particular citing the ‘much needed power‘ they could bring.
The Englishman, who has played 106 minutes in the Premier League over a flurry of substitute appearances, could be deemed a threat coming off the bench – especially according to his WhoScored.com statistics which state he has averaged one shot on goal per game in the few cameos he has made. Samatta, who signed from Belgian side Genk in a deal worth £8.5 million back in January, has so far scored one goal in the league whilst also notching an impressive header against Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final.
Taking these facts into account, supporters are now curious over the prospect of a potential Samatta-Davis partnership. Find all of their best reasoning over the pair from Twitter down below.
Yes. They would be a huge handful and would add some much needed power. Love the way Keinan bullies defenders. #avfc

Think these would really complement each other. Both great workers and can hold; one can bully defences and the other a born finisher
