Several Aston Villa fans have been left drooling over the prospect of their side signing AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek.
According to journalist Nicolo Schira, Villa are interested in signing the 24-year-old, a claim backed up by The Telegraph‘s Matt Law.

Piatek has fallen down the pecking order at Milan this season, though he showed last campaign what he is truly capable of.
Across spells with his current club and former side Genoa, he managed to score 22 goals in a total of 37 Serie A appearances.
It is the sort of firepower Dean Smith needs following Wesley’s knee injury as the Midlands club look to avoid the drop.
Olivier Giroud, Michy Batshuayi and Christian Benteke are also names to have come up in The Telegraph’s report.
Next up for Villa is the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final tie against Leicester City, giving players a chance to push relegation to the back of their minds.
