Aston Villa fans on Twitter desperate to see Bolasie starting

Yannick Bolasie has taken to life at Aston Villa like a duck to water. The Congolese international doesn’t appear to be at all disheartened by the fact he wasn’t fancied at Everton by new boss Marco Silva and he seems desperate to make his loan spell at Villa Park count. After appearing in yesterday’s second city derby win, the Villains believe Bolasie is now due a start for them.

Bolasie was signed on-loan by Steve Bruce before the club sacked him and appointed Dean Smith and now it looks like the ex-Brentford man will be doing everything in his power to get the best out of the hit and miss winger. So far, Bolasie has made ten appearances for Villa, scoring twice and registering one assist. However, all of his game time has so far been off the bench and yesterday was no different as he replaced Albert Adomah with 30 minutes left.

The circumstances of his introduction to the game were not favourable ones. Adomah was chopped down by Wes Harding in a challenge that saw the Birmingham man go into the book and Adomah go into the treatment room, as Bolasie ran on to replace him. With every passing day, it seems that the ex-Crystal Palace man gets the Villains more and more and they can’t wait to see Smith throw in the tricky winger for his first start of the season when they face Nottingham Forest on Wednesday at Villa Park.

The Villains can’t get enough of Bolasie and will hope with a few starts under his belt they can start preparing to sign the winger on a permanent deal.
