Aston Villa fans on Twitter would do anything to sign Tammy Abraham permanently

It hasn’t taken him long at all, but Tammy Abraham is loving life at Aston Villa and is shining under the Villa park lights everytime he steps out and pulls on the shirt. Yesterday was no different as the on-loan Chelsea man celebrated his first second-city derby with a goal, a cooly converted penalty that he won after he was brought down by Michael Morrison just five minutes after the break.

The goals he scored yesterday made it six goals in his first 14 games for The Villains and as his chances at Chelsea look slimmer and slimmer with every passing season, a lot of Villa fans would love to see their side capitalise on his situation by signing him on a permanent deal. It’s been just a matter of months and Abraham already feels like he’s been scoring goals at Villa Park for years and if he can help them win promotion then another deal could be on the cards.

It was certainly a memorable day yesterday for all associated with Aston Villa. The build-up to the derby felt like it had been going on forever after the Championship stopped for the international break and with both Villa and Birmingham going into the game on 24 points it was always going to be a tight affair. Abraham, though, always gives his side the edge when the game looks tight and again he did so yesterday, with his goal giving Villa their first two-goal lead of the match and allowing them some breathing room.

The Villains would do almost anything to get Abraham on a permanent deal and they’ll all be hoping he can fire them to promotion with his goals and then make his Villa Park stay a much longer one.
