Many Aston Villa fans have reacted to a report claiming Said Benrahma is set to join West Ham United.
Having successfully fought off the threat of relegation to the Championship, Villa boss Dean Smith can look to the transfer window to potentially improve his squad.
Having been the Premier League’s second biggest spenders last summer, the Midlands side will be under pressure to ensure the right players are signed this time round and a transfer link to Brentford’s lively attacker Benrahma has emerged in recent weeks.
The 24-year-old Algerian was one of the most prolific attackers in English football last season, netting 17 goals and providing nine assists in his 43 appearances.
Despite the winger’s link to Villa Park, a latest report has him linked with a move to West Ham with a £20m-plus bid reported.
