Plenty of Aston Villa fans have reacted to latest comments made by Dean Smith, who has discussed the potential return of the Premier League season.
As the coronavirus pandemic continues to affect the UK, there has been plenty of discussion about whether the Premier League will return. With players now set to return to individual training at their respective clubs, some Villa fans are beginning to grow excited about the potential outcomes of their team’s season.
Villa sit 19th in the Premier League and will be embroiled in a relegation battle when the season returns, and manager Smith has commented on his desire to finish the season and take advantage of his side’s game in hand.
Speaking on Sky Sports’ The Football Show, the 49-year-old lifelong Villa fan discussed several club matters, and went on to talk about his side’s current league standing.
