A lot of Aston Villa fans have been reacting to a Sky Sports article which has said that the club is interested in Huddersfield striker Karlan Grant and will look to buy him in the summer. Midlands rivals West Brom, who are currently second in the Championship, are also said to be interested.
Karlan Grant signed for Huddersfield from Charlton Athletic on the 30th January 2019 for £1.53 million via Transfermarkt. He managed to make 13 appearances in the Premier League for the Terriers, scoring four goals before they got relegated and has impressed in the Championship this season, scoring 16 times in 34 appearances.
This impressive tally means he is currently top scorer at the side, who find themselves currently in a relegation battle as they sit 18th but are only three points clear of 22nd.
Villa have struggled for goals this season, scoring only 34, (Premier League) but did sign striker Mbwana Ally Samatta from Genk in January and summer signing Wesley Moraes is currently injured.
