Many Aston Villa fans have reacted to a report linking the club with a move for Dijon FCO winger Mounir Chouiar.
With football at a standstill at present due to the recent pandemic, it is very hard for clubs to prepare past the season and that is no different for Villa, who have their Premier League future to play for when fixtures return.
Sitting 19th in the league standings, the pressure is firmly on Dean Smith and his players to turn things around and produce some consistent form in the remaining games of the season.
Looking further past this season, the Claret and Blue have been linked with a move for some transfer targets, and Chouiar has emerged as one of those.
L’Equipe (via Inside Futbol) report that Villa have joined several other clubs in monitoring the Dijon player’s form and availability. The 21-year-old winger only joined the French outfit last summer but his performances are said to have enticed the likes of Fiorentina, Parma and Nice, to show interest.
