Aston Villa will pay AFC Bournemouth another £250,000 for centre-back Tyrone Mings following his first appearance for England, according to the Telegraph.

The 26-year-old made his debut for the Three Lions in their 6-0 victory against Bulgaria on Monday and, as a result, it is thought that Villa will have to pay £250,000 to the Cherries after each of his first four international appearances.
Mings initially joined the West Midlands club for a fee believed (per the BBC) to be £20 million in July.
Whilst this does represent an extra financial outlay for Villa, it obviously also means that Mings is performing well enough to be involved with the England squad, which is good news for Dean Smith’s side.
The former Ipswich Town man excelled in his first appearance for the Three Lions, not only on the pitch but also in the way he dealt with racist chanting from a section of Bulgarian supporters.
He has also been outstanding so far for Villa, starting in all eight of their league matches and helping them to two clean sheets so far whilst also providing one assist (via Transfermarkt).
After learning that the club now owed more money to Bournemouth for the transfer of Mings, most Villa fans gave the same response. The majority of them insisted that he was worth every penny, and didn’t mind forking out for a man of his quality…
