Plenty of Aston Villa fans have reacted to comments made by keeper Pepe Reina on his return to Italian club AC Milan.
The Spanish keeper arrived at Villa Park in January to bolster Dean Smith’s options between the sticks, but his time in the Midlands has seen him struggle.
Arriving with a wealth of experience which saw him win the World Cup with Spain in 2010, plus countless honours with the likes of Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Napoli – Reina was expected to provide adequate cover for Tom Heaton, who was forced out of action through injury.
Orjan Nyland has made life difficult for the Milan loanee, however, being preferred at times by Smith in both the Premier League and League Cup.
On a short term loan deal from Serie A side Milan, Reina is expected to return to the San Siro outfit in the summer, and his latest comments all-but confirm that.
Reacting to Reina’s comments which were shared by @villareport, fans evaluated his performances at the club. It seems most would be happy to see him go…

What about Steer, wasnt he expected to be back before the season ended so he may have been included in the squad list from January.

His 1st game was amazing. Since then he’s been crap
