Dean Smith appears to be wasting very little time as Aston Villa manager as he looks to delve into the transfer market.
It is understood the defender has a number of clubs taking an interest in him as he continues to shine at the City Ground this season, with Premier League outfits Wolverhampton Wanderers and Fulham both keen.
The right-back has excelled for Forest this season when he has been involved in Aitor Karanka’s side, as they remain unbeaten in the five games that he has featured in.
The Verdict:

Janko would be an excellent signing at Aston Villa and one that would certainly help to improve the defence.
The Villans currently have Alan Hutton playing at right-back at the moment, and many fans have not been too happy with the performances being displayed by the veteran recently, making the Switzerland Under-21 international a really attractive option and one that would help to immediately improve the backline.
Smith is keen to reshape the team he recently inherited, and with suggestions that the right-back could be available for as little as £2million, it would appear to be a steal.
