Aston Villa are thought to be keeping tabs on an exciting Premier League player as doubts about his future continues to be speculated.
It is understood that the 25-year-old is yet to open talks over a new deal, with his current contract set to expire in the summer, despite impressing for Cardiff City in recent games.
The winger has been playing a starring role for the Bluebirds this season, as they look to try and put together a run of results to give them a chance of escaping the drop from the Premier League, having scored against Fulham whilst being hugely influential against Brighton and Hove Albion.
Aston Villa, along with Leeds United and Bolton Wanderers, are thought to have been alerted with the news and will look to try and strike an agreement with the player in January if the situation does not change.
