Our Aston Villa fans here in the Transfer Tavern are concerned about their injury list at the moment but things look to be slightly getting better in light of Steve Bruce’s latest comments.
Indeed, the Villans have a very depleted squad at the moment and so they are largely thankful that they are already pretty much safe from the relegation battle.
They’ll be keen to make absolutely sure of that as soon as possible, though, and so any returning players from the sidelines will surely be welcomed.
Indeed, it looks like they might just get that, too, for their game against Sheffield Wednesday with Alan Hutton returning to training this week – as confirmed by Steve Bruce via the club’s official Twitter account:

Of course, it remains to be seen if he makes the squad for the fixture with the Owls but even if he doesn’t the defender should be ready to go very soon now.
