Many Aston Villa fans have been left lauding a transfer update as the Midlands club revealed that Tyreik Wright has signed for Walsall on loan for the season.
As per AVFC’s official website, he will link up with his new teammates ahead of their game versus Oldham Athletic in the EFL League Two on Saturday, in what could well turn out to be a very profitable loan spell for him come the end of the 2020/21 term.
Does Wright have a future at Aston Villa?
Wright has never made a first-team appearance at Villa Park, but he has played in a lot of matches at youth level, scoring no fewer than ten goals and making a further eight assists in 52 games in total over all competitions across the last three consecutive campaigns (Transfermarkt).
The versatile winger will certainly get opportunities to play men’s football at The Saddlers, in a move that will surely benefit all parties involved.
