Plenty of Aston Villa fans have been reacting to a transfer update on midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka.
The 17-year-old made his Premier League debut on Wednesday evening in the 2-1 win over Tottenham.
Despite Chukwuemeka only recently breaking into the first-team fold, it seems as if the youngster is already attracting interest from some of Europe’s top clubs.
Will Villa keep Chukwuemeka at the club?
According to BILD, cited by Sports Witness, Manchester City, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are keen. The German newspaper adds that Borussia Dortmund are ‘actively monitoring’ Chukwuemeka, who would cost around €15m (£12.9m).
Villa fans react
@villareport shared the news regarding Dortmund’s interest in Chukwuemeka on Twitter on Thursday afternoon.
It’s safe to say their post didn’t go down too well, with several Villa supporters urging the club not to sell.
“No, no, no! He’s gonna be our next big star! Hands off!”
“I beg no man I’m gonna cry”
“I swear to god”
“Don’t you dare @AVFCOfficial“
“15 mill is a joke of a figure”
“Would be gutting to let him go”
