Well now, when it comes to football, one man has for many years been the most noticeable, the most controversial, and occasionally the most successful blogger this country has ever produced. His pithy words and abrasive style make him as famous off the pitch as he is on it. This man is Escapini. "I love football. Football she's a cruel mistress. She's, she's more than a mistress. She's a wife, she's a mother, she's a daughter, she's an errant child. She's a… she's a… she can make you laugh, she make you cry. She can bring tears me eyes. She can bring blood to me shoulders. BabeFan – Rachel Cordingley

Meet Rachel Cordingley. She’s our Liverpool BabeFan of the day.

‘I first started becoming interested in modeling, when my Dad and sister saw a modeling competition in the local newspaper. I always thought I was never good enough, until I entered and came 2nd!

I was always used to sporting competitions and throughout my schooling, I took part in swimming, cross-country running and athletics competitions and was always pretty successful. I both ran and swam for the city of Liverpool.

I was soon to discover that these competitions were much different from the modelling competitions I was about to take part in!

At first I was so nervous. I didn’t think I could even get up on the stage, but it then became so natural to me and I became more confident! Since then, I have taken part in the Miss Great Britain competition, in which i got in to the final.

I then won the Miss Maxim UK title and I am now the Miss Maxim Global winner, the final being held in Thailand. I have had my own 2 page column in Maxim magazine and been doing a lot of stuff for the Daily Star newspaper, who I love working with.’
