The Daily Mail have Liverpool fans looking up with major interest here in the Football Transfer Tavern as they claim that Mario Balotelli has flown into Liverpool to complete his move from AC Milan.
The forward is set to leave the Serie A side and return to life in the Premier League – yet will not be eligible for the Monday night clash against former club Manchester City.
After losing Luis Saurez it seems Brendan Rodgers is determined to make sure that his side is still brimming with quality – and to land a player with the abilities of Balotelli when he is on form for less than £20 million is an utter steal.
The Reds have also been linked with Samuel Eto’o and we think that the combination of young and experienced up top will work a treat – although Daniel Sturridge might have something to say about not being the main man anymore!
