Our Liverpool fans here in the Transfer Tavern are in high spirits thanks to their latest win over Everton at the weekend.
You can understand why, too, as it really was a game the Reds needed to win to help consolidate their top four spot and put Everton’s hopes of getting into it under real scrutiny.
And, whilst Everton tried to kick Liverpool off of the park, the hosts ran out 3-1 winners to kick-off the weekend.
Indeed, it was a pretty successful weekend all round for Liverpool related figures as Brendan Rodgers lifted the Scottish Premiership with Celtic.
And, in light of that, Liverpool supporters on Twitter were quick to offer their congratulations to their former boss:
