Our Aston Villa fans here in the Transfer Tavern really are happy with the way things have gone in recent weeks and are harbouring great hope for next year.
It’s been a tough few seasons for supporters of the club to muddle through but it does look as though that they are getting towards the end of this particular tunnel.
Indeed, the players are pulling in the right direction and, as well as that, Steve Bruce is doing a superb job in orchestrating them on the pitch.
In addition, Dr. Tony Xia is proving himself to be a fine chairman and so the club really do have all the ingredients needed to start making a success of themselves once again.
Indeed, there can be no doubt that Xia has helped steady the Villa ship and, after appearing to quash fears over Jonathan Kodjia leaving on Twitter, many fans were once again quick to praise him.
