Our Newcastle fans here in the Transfer Tavern are really looking forward to seeing their side get going in the Premier League against Tottenham on the opening day.
The men from Tyneside have certainly been waiting patiently throughout the summer and now there is just two weeks to go until Arsenal and Leicester get us underway for the new campaign.
For sure, then, the Magpies will be hoping for a positive season that sees them stay up at the very least whilst they’ll also be looking to see stability stay throughout the course of the campaign.
Indeed, a lack of that has blighted the club in past seasons but it appears as though the feeling is upbeat at the moment – as per Mark Douglas on Twitter:
