If you haven’t seen by now, it’s worth taking a look at Marcelo Bielsa’s big blue bucket. The Argentine gaffer has been seen sitting in the dugout on his blue bucket. Leeds took to Twitter yesterday with some early team news that the bucket had travelled with the squad to Pride Park.

This season is looking like being a very enjoyable one for the Whites. Bielsa opened up his Championship career with a thumping 3-1 win over Gary Rowett’s Stoke and he’ll be keen to extend his winning run to six points from two games as they travel to Pride Park to face Frank Lampard’s Derby County. It won’t be an easy game and the fans will be looking to draw inspiration from Bielsa and his bucket to help their side through the tough fixture.
The Championship is a very open league and there are a lot of teams that will be hoping to be up near the top of the league come to the end of the season. Nottingham Forest, Derby, Leeds, Stoke, West Brom, Aston Villa, Middlesbrough and Bristol City will all be backing themselves to kick on and aim for promotion. However, the math doesn’t add up as with just three teams able to go up, it will be a serious dogfight at the top of the Championship and Bielsa will be hoping he can come out on top of that.

The fans are loving Bielsa are really buying into the bucket. If they can get another three points against Derby today then some fans will be desperate to get their hands on their own big blue bucket.
