It’s been a fantastic couple of weeks for Sam Allardyce and Crystal Palace and the Eagles supporters here in the Tavern are delighted this afternoon after their side pulled off a shock 2-1 win over Liverpool today!
The Eagles were more than worth their victory, with Christian Benteke finally coming good for the Eagles with two more goals, which meant Palace will finish the season quite comfortable after some initial relegation fears.
Many had doubted Big Sam’s ability to turn things around in London but he’s certainly delivered, pulling his players together to get result after result which has seen them practically soar up the table.
And as you can imagine after such a good victory, Palace fans online were in high spirits after the game with many imagining how good it might’ve been had Allardyce joined the club that little bit earlier.
