Our Newcastle fans here in the Transfer Tavern are trying to look for positives in their start to the season but it really is hard to do that right now.
The men from St. James’ Park just haven’t started well this year with results on the pitch leading to two losses and the performance away from it in the transfer market also being sub-par.
Certainly, then, there is a lot of disharmony about the club right now – as there always seems to be when they’re in the Premier League – and so work is needing to be done as soon as possible.
For sure, that needs to entail more players getting signed and one man that could arrive – though it seems early days, rather frustratingly for them – is Dennis Praet who is apparently being monitored by the club – via Lee Ryder on Twitter.
