The Irons in the Transfer Tavern are hoping for three vital points when they face Brighton at the London Stadium this Friday.
Slaven Bilic’s future at the club has been called into question on multiple occasions since West Ham left Upton Park in 2016. It is common for a period of transition to contribute to a downturn in form whilst a club adapts to its new surroundings, particularly when the transition involves a change of stadium. Without the atmosphere of the Boleyn Ground ringing through the ears of the players, the intensity of their performances have dropped considerably.
Failure to claim 3 points this Friday would heap further pressure on Bilic, who simply has to win this type of home game to maintain the full backing of the fans. If Brighton claim all 3 points from the London Stadium, there is every chance that Bilic will be faced with an ultimatum or worse by the board. Bilic has struggled to get the best form out of his players on an individual level, and Ghanaian midfielder Andre Ayew is a prime example of this.

The punters in the Tavern claim Ayew has done little to justify his £24 million price-tag since his switch from Swansea last season. And Hammers fans reacted angrily to a video posted from the clubs official Twitter page on Tuesday that featured two glorious finishes from Ayew in training this week.
It appears the fans are desperate to see this type of end product on match-days, rather than via their clubs social media channels.
