Our Aston Villa fans here in the Transfer Tavern can’t wait to see their side go for promotion next season as they are certainly confident that is what is going to happen.
The Villans may have not had the season they would have liked this time out but the second half of it at least suggested that there is potential for a promotion challenge in 2017/18.
Indeed, the men from Villa Park have been going well in recent weeks and if they can sign some good players over the summer then there can be no doubt that the club is going to challenge next year.
