The Aston Villa fans here in the Transfer Tavern are not in the best of spirits right now, with their team having not won a fixture since way back on Boxing Day, much to the dismay of their ardent supporters.
Manager Steve Bruce had looked to steady the ship when he arrived earlier in the campaign, although on current form the club is going backwards despite several new additions in the January transfer window.
The experienced Championship boss has some serious work on his hands and the Villa fans in the Tavern are growing increasingly concerned that their team could be relegated again this season.

The young winger has not had a great season once again during 2016/17, with first-team football coming at a premium under the management of Steve Bruce.
He was sent off against Nottingham Forest at the start of February and he has failed to reclaim his place in the side since that disaster.
Several Villa fans remain undecided on the ability of the Villa academy graduate but one in particular is chatting to our landlord and he thinks that Grealish can thrive as long as he gets a prolonged run in the team.

The rapid winger is another one who hasn’t played loads of football under the management of Steve Bruce, although he has featured fairly regularly from the bench.
His pace is electric and he should be starting a little bit more, although Bruce is likely to stick with the players which he spent millions on during January for now.
One Villa fan is sat enjoying a breakfast of bacon and eggs and he is actually in agreement with Bruce that although he isn’t a good enough starter, he should certainly feature more often from the bench given his ability to beat a man.
