Newcastle United fans here in the Tavern are excited about the future, as Rafa Benitez could bring even more success to St James’ Park if he’s given time to work his magic.
Indeed, the Magpies have been incredible in recent times as many of our local northerners are feeling extremely relieved, as it now looks like manager Rafa Benitez can build for another season in the top-flight. Although, Newcastle United will need to welcome a few stars to St James’ Park in the summer transfer window, but this will all depend on whether current owner Mike Ashley can find the club a suitable buyer.
So, with Benitez keen to grow the Newcastle United revolution this summer, plenty of additions will be required after witnessing an inconsistent campaign. And, with the possibility of a takeover coming into play if Ashley can come to some sort of an agreement, the Magpies could be welcoming some world-class players to St James’ Park in time for next season.
Nevertheless, Rafa Benitez needs to grow the Newcastle revolution off of these THREE stars if a takeover happens…
Ryan Bertrand

The defender has enjoyed arguably his best season at St Mary’s in the current campaign, as he’s now become a regular in the England set-up after producing a number of outstanding performances.
Although, his current club Southampton are flirting with the possibility of relegation to the Championship, which could see him head for the exits in the summer months.
Therefore, Rafa Benitez should look to bring the Englishman to St James’ Park in the summer transfer window, as he’s established himself as arguably one of the Premier League’s most impressive wing-backs this season.
Alassane Plea

Alassane Plea has enjoyed his breakthrough season in the current campaign at OGC Nice, with 17 goals and six assists to his name as one of the most exciting products out of France.
However, he hasn’t always been able to display prolific goalscoring figures but does pride himself on providing for his teammates, which’s something that Newcastle could definitely benefit from in the future.
So without further ado, the Magpies will need to bring the Frenchman to Tyneside in the summer transfer window, as they’re in desperate need of a striker that can make vital contributions in the final third.
Bas Dost

Indeed, Bas Dost has established himself as one of the most prolific strikers in Europe so far this season, as he currently has a whopping 31 goals to his name and has even provided his teammates with five assists.
The Magpies have been calling out for a proven goalscorer that can produce a large amount of goals in the current campaign, but it doesn’t look as if loan signing Islam Slimani is the right man for the job.
So, Newcastle United should look to Bas Dost as their main source of goals for next season, having shown he can produce incredible goalscoring figures both in Europe and domestically.
