Tottenham Hotspur enjoyed a rather successful campaign last time around as they finished in third position and threw their weight around in the Champions League. Although, supporters are already looking to the future as a number of young stars are waiting in the wings.
Mauricio Pochettino worked wonders in North London once again last season as his side managed to secure a Champions League spot and challenged for the Premier League title at one point.
However, pre-season has allowed the South American to take a look at some of the club’s youngsters. And, it’s fair to say that he won’t be disappointed with what he has seen so far, as the early signs have been bright for Spurs.
Indeed, challenging for the Premier League title will be high up on Pochettino’s priority list, so it remains to be seen as to whether he’ll look to give youth a chance outside of the domestic cup competitions.

The 19-year-old has been included in the first-team squad on a number of occasions, but he will be hungry to get even more minutes under his belt in the new campaign.
Spurs only usually play with one striker in the form of Harry Kane, and with Fernando Llorente grabbing a brace against AC Milan, it looks as if Kaziah Sterling will have to do something special to force his way into the side.
Oliver Skipp is arguably one of, if not the most promising player in the academy set-up.
The defensive midfielder dominated proceedings against older players in the club’s U23 Premier League matches and UEFA U19 Youth League ties last season.
Interestingly, the youngster was included in the squad for Tottenham’s pre-season tour of the United states, where he’ll be looking to work his way into Mauricio Pochettino’s plans.
