Sheffield Wednesday will take a lot of heart from their FA Cup performances with the hope of building their league form back up.
Reaching the fourth round was a solid achievement and they could have no complaints about going out at the hands of Chelsea.
Nevertheless, their spell in the cup is over and now it’s back to reality and 17th place in the Championship.
There just hasn’t been enough good performances by the team this season, meaning their low position isn’t surprising.
Yet with Steve Bruce soon to step into the hot seat, Sheffield Wednesday fans are optimistic in thinking change is soon to come for the better.
New players will be desirable and with the little time left in the window, a smart move for the Owls would be loaning a player.
With Steve Bruce being familiar with those at Aston Villa, trying to bring young talent Callum O’Hare to the club would be a worthwhile addition at the very least.
Callum O’Hare is very highly-rated by those at the club and with the chance to play regularly at Hillsborough, everyone could witness his full potential.
The 20-year-old played during a recent FA Cup matches, but other than that, first-team chances have been few and far between.
In fact, his main time spent on the pitch has been with Villa’s U23 side, where in 10 games, he has amassed three goals and an assist.
For Sheffield Wednesday, Steve Bruce would surely be delighted to utilise a player he will know and the pair could re-unite to endure a brilliant six months together at least, with O’Hare potentially available on a loan deal.
