Our Newcastle fans here in the Transfer Tavern can’t wait to see their side back in the Premier League from August of this year.
The Magpies may have only been away from the top flight for one season but that was more than enough for many of their fans here by the bar and so it really is the case that it is good to be back.
Now, then, Rafa Benitez needs to start signing players to make sure the squad is ready to challenge in the top division and we can only wait and see who is going to come in and bolster the team.
In the meantime, though, the club has revealed the retained list ahead of the new campaign with players also being let go to find new employers.
