With so many attacking options available to both Liverpool and England, the increasingly enigmatic Daniel Sturridge recently celebrated a lethal landmark.
His header for the Three Lions against Malta at Wembley on Saturday marked 100 career goals for both club and country at just twenty-seven years of age.
Rather amazingly, such a haul has been celebrated amid a ridiculous amount of injuries.

Despite his good form (scoring 69 goals in the Premier League) for the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea and Bolton too, he remains a luxury player at both levels.
While he can rarely be relied upon to stay fit throughout the course of a campaign, the forward has largely lurked in the shadows behind more dynamic options at both Anfield and Wembley.
Still, there’s little doubt he remains one of the best players in the Premier League when on song and the huge North West clash with Manchester United on Monday represents a perfect platform.
As per TransferMarkt, Sturridge has scored five times in 14 games against the Red Devils in his career, a pretty decent record considering their might for most of his early days.
