Yesterday’s 4-2 home win against fellow title hopefuls Hibernian probably marks the start of Celtic’s season. It has been a relatively slow, and rather unusual, start in Glasgow for the side that so consistently walks the league, with all due to respect to their opposing teams.
There’s no doubt that such a strong winning mentality brings with it certain expectations of players. Today was no exception to this rule. Despite being in the driver’s seat for the majority of game, there was a slight scare in the 73rd minute when Hibernian came from behind to make it 3-2. This moment of excitement for the travelling fans wasn’t to last, however, as Celtic went on to score in the 88th minute to finish the game off.
Although this minor comeback had no real impact on the end result, it certainly highlighted some of the more disconcerting issues in the Celtic lineup. One player in particular has been identified as a weak link: Mr. Mikael Lustig.

I really hope we have a right back lined up to come in on January first. Sooner Lustig is out of the side the better. Guys finished.
