Yesterday saw Celtic continue their incredible run in the Scottish domestic cup competitions as they brushed aside St Johnstone 5-0 at Parkhead to advance to the quarter-finals of the competition. Scott Sinclair was again in superb form in the cup as he brought up his 14th, 15th and 16th goals of the season with a well-taken treble.
Beautiful!

The Englishman may have had his critics this season, but no one could doubt his form yesterday in front of goal when he stepped up and shone against an out-of-sorts St Johnstone side. The treble marked his second hat-trick of the season after he previously netted three against Aberdeen in a 4-3 win in the Scottish Premier League.
Sinclair hasn’t been the player that the fans have become used to seeing tear apart Scottish defences this season, but when it matters he’s come good and yesterday was one of those times. His heroics yesterday mean that he’s now bagged an incredible five goals in two games in the Scottish Cup, and he’ll be desperate to continue his incredible goalscoring run in the competition in the next round.

The Bhoys loved seeing Sinclair tearing St Johnstone apart and will hope that level of performance can stick between now and the end of the season.
