We’re not more than a day removed from Chelsea’s win over Fulham, but Blues fans are already looking ahead to their next game. Such is the speed of English football during the winter period, Chelsea only have a few days to rest before their next game against Wolves – who earned promotion to the top flight last season.
They’ve been going fairly well this season, though admittedly, their form has dropped off significantly over the last month or two. Still, they’re a formidable outfit, and the Blues must be at their best to defeat them.
Fortunately, Chelsea’s game against Fulham should give Maurizio Sarri confidence in his quest for a good performance, with the team bouncing back well from a loss against Tottenham the week prior.
A key performer for Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday was Ruben Loftus-Cheek. He came off the bench to score, effectively sealing the three points for his team.
Naturally, given his popularity amongst fans, lots of supporters have been discussing his display in the time since the game, and one thing is clear – they’re desperate for him to keep his place.

Last thing on Chelsea from me today. I don't know about anyone else, but this lineup, and this defense especially, is starting to look a bit stale. Hoping for some freshness for midweek vs. Wolves. Loftus-Cheek, Christensen and Emerson would be a start for me.
