Chelsea have had a great season so far, and there have been a handful of particularly solid individual performances under Maurizio Sarri. The Italian clearly knows how to get the best out of his squad, and it’s fair to say that one player that has particularly impressed is Ross Barkley.
Having endured a tough 12 months or so, with injuries plaguing his campaign last year, Barkley appears to have come out the other side this season, and it’s paying off big time for him and for Chelsea.
He’s been one of the Blues’ best performers so far this term, and he enjoyed his best game of the season against Southampton over the weekend. Picking up an assist and a goal for his team, he was the star of the show, and it appears as though he’s finally back to his best.
One player that has been particularly impressed by Barkley is Eden Hazard. Hazard recently spoke with the official Chelsea website, and he detailed how he thinks that Barkley has been fantastic this season.

It’s clear that Hazard himself is a big fan of Barkley, and it’s also evident that his view is shared by many Chelsea fans. Lots of Chelsea fans have responded to the comments, and they’re in agreement with his view of the English midfielder.
