Chelsea are coming off the back of a pretty horrendous weekend. They lost what is normally their biggest game of the season against Tottenham, and they lost comfortably.
The Blues just didn’t look like they were at the races, and a reaction will be expected from Maurizio Sarri’s men against PAOK on Thursday.
Ahead of the game, Maurizio Sarri has been speaking about his squad, and one man that has garnered particular attention is Callum Hudson-Odoi.
The English winger has hardly featured, despite a very strong pre-season, and Sarri has revealed that he wants to see improvement from the winger. His quote can be seen in the below Tweet from Chelsea.
Sarri says Callum Hudson-Odoi has to improve offensively and defensively, but potentially he is a very good player. He adds that he wants to find space for him, but it's not easy to put him in the starting 11. He is in the 18-man squad for tomorrow's game. #CFCvPAOK

Clearly, Sarri wants more from Hudson-Odoi, and this has really angered many Chelsea fans. Of course, homegrown talent is always popular at Stamford Bridge, and Hudson-Odoi is perhaps the most talented player to come through in a long time. He’s got electric pace and an eye for a goal, and he’s outgrown the developmental system.
