Whenever you think of Chelsea football club the one player who instantly jumps to mind is the sublime Eden Hazard. The Belgian is one of the best players in the Premier League and on Sunday his assist for Jorginho’s winning goal meant he became just the 3rd player to reach both 50 goals and assists in the league for the Blues.

Hazard’s tally of 81 goals and 50 assists in the Premier League mean that he’s now in good company when it comes to the Blues top players. Alongside the former Lille sensation on the list of players with 50+ goals and assists in the Premier League for the club are Chelsea legends Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba, and now that he’s reached the feat the fans have been calling for him to sign a new deal.
Interest in Hazard from Real Madrid has been well-documented. However, over the last few weeks, it appears that Los Blancos are shifting their interest more towards Christian Eriksen and The Mirror have claimed that the Spanish giants are to offer Gareth Bale in part exchange for the Dane. That deal would surely mean Hazard is set to stay at Stamford Bridge and the fans want to see him tied down to a new contract to make sure it happens.
