There could well be a bidding war here at the Football Transfer Tavern as it is claimed by Football Friends Online that Chelsea and Manchester United are both eyeing a young star to add to their ranks.
The Premier League duo are considering a bid for a young rising star who has been shoring up defences this season and is also being tracked by a host of other top sides including Borussia Dortmund and Lille.
Egyptian internnational Ramy Rabia may only be 19 years of age but he is attracting serious glances from around Europe and should Chelsea or United wish to land the player they will have to move fast.
Turning 20 on Monday, the player is considered one of the hottest properties in African football and would command a decent fee should he chose to join either of the Premier League sides. When asked about the potential of a move, his spokesman claimed that: “A number of clubs have expressed an interest, but at the moment Ramy is looking forward to the Under-20 World Cup.”
