Chelsea fans are looking up from their pints and over to the conversation at the bar here in the Football Transfer Tavern, after our landlord tells them that the Telegraph seem to think that the Blues may not be willing to allow Petr Cech to leave for Arsenal after all.
The Blues are facing up to the fact that Cech will be leaving the club this summer after losing his place to Thibaut Courtois, but after claims that Roman Abramovich and Jose Mourinho would allow him to leave for any club he wants, even a Premier League rival, after his loyal service, our regulars were shocked to say the least.
Now it seems that the Blues have done a U-turn on that school of thought, and are considering blocking any move, with Abramovich the man who will have the final say on an Arsenal switch.
