As one of our punters notes here in the Football Transfer Tavern, at the start of the season, Cesc Fabregas received a huge amount of stick for his hair cut and now it seems that he is being compared to a former World Cup finalist!
The Spanish international midfielder has of course collected a fair amount of trophies in his own right and certainly does not need to pass himself off as someone else but it seems he is morphing into World Cup 2002 star Christoph Metzelder judging by the picture below!
Now we have seen Cesc in a fair few virals but this one is certainly one of the most accurate of the season – and it does not even troll Arsenal fans!
Chelsea fans. Have a look for yourselves below. The resemblance between the former German international and Cesc is uncanny!
