However news today from Mail Online that the Portuguese manager is ready to offload Brazilian defender David Luiz in his first act at the club has been met with a muted reaction.
The former Inter Milan boss is understood to believe that the 26-year-old is a risk due to his lack of defensive abilities and he may not fit the style of play Mourinho likes.
