Chelsea update on Eden Hazard has left these fans feeling pleased

Chelsea managed to dispatch of Burnley over the weekend, but there was one notable absentee from the Blues’ squad – Eden Hazard. Hazard has been Maurizio Sarri’s most important and best player this season, but they had to cope without him against the Clarets.

Fortunately, that didn’t work against them, with Alvaro Morata, Ross Barkley, Willian and Ruben Loftus-Cheek all combining to put four goals past Sean Dyche’s side.

However, it’s clear that Chelsea would be better off with Hazard available – and it looks like he could well be for the Blues’ next league game. Ahead of Chelsea’s game with Derby on Wednesday, Gianfranco Zola has confirmed that Hazard will miss the mid-week tie – but it is ‘looking good’ for the weekend game.

Of course, Chelsea are set to take on Crystal Palace this weekend, and Hazard’s return will be a welcome boost ahead of that tie.
