James Rodriguez

James Rodriguez can still be world class but our landlord has his doubts that he’s going to do that at Real Madrid.

The Colombian was the best player at the 2014 World Cup and from that many thought he was going to be right in the top bracket of footballers on the planet but he’s come up short so far. A move could benefit him, then, and if Conte can get the best out of him the Stamford Bridge club will be laughing all the way to the end of the season.

Marco Verratti

Chelsea have Kante in midfield but they need another star alongside him.

Our landlord would play Cesc Fabregas but with him looking set for a periphery role under Conte and Nemanja Matic only going to become more immobile, Verratti needs to be looked at. The diminutive PSG midfielder is dynamite and the idea of him working in tandem with the equally tenacious Kante is something that should worry other Premier League clubs greatly.
