Conte really should secure deal for these 2 right wingers in January

Could Chelsea spend big in January? The Blues fans in the Tavern hope so…

Antonio Conte has slowly started turning his Chelsea side around after a mixed start, and a formation switch has seen the Blues revolutionise their style of play.

Gone is the slow, laboured Chelsea system – and in it’s place is a dynamic, quick moving, fluid footballing masterclass.

Conte certainly knows what he’s doing – but he can’t do it all on his own. In order for Chelsea to develop further, our landlord thinks that he needs to invest big in January – and the Chelsea fans in the Tavern are crying out for more offensive depth.

With just Willian, Hazard and Pedro the only real options on the flanks, the Blues desperately need to invest – particularly on the right.

With that said,  Conte really should secure deal for these 2 right wingers in January

 Arda Turan

Turanturan

Arda Turan was only ever going to be a bit-part player for Barcelona – and his spell so far with the Catalan giants has only served to reinforce that suggestion.

He has no chance of getting in a team dominated by the likes of Leo Messi and Luis Suarez, and given that is nearing the end of his career – a late revival with the Blues could prove an attractive option.

Turan would add experience, technical brilliance and a decent work rate to the Blues engine, and would give Antonio Conte an alternative to Willian – which he dearly lacks at present.

Felipe Anderson

Anderson

Felipe Anderson could prove to be an attractive proposition for Antonio Conte due to his versatility.

He is able to play across the attack, whilst also offering further reinforcement as a wing-back. Conte has recently switched to a 3-4-3 formation – so that could prove most attractive.

What’s more, his attacking threat is unrivalled, and he can often be impossible to tackle given how quickly he can move the ball away from defenders.

If Conte is looking for a versatile, technical right winger – look no further than Anderson.
