Chelsea boss weighing up January defender move

It’s amazing what just a few short weeks can do, with the Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern simply delighted about life under Antonio Conte.

Ever since THAT loss to bitter rivals Arsenal, the Italian has proved his worth as one of the elite tacticians in the game by constructing a truly formidable defence with some clever tweaks.

Now, according to the Daily Star, the former Juventus and Italy coach could make another January move to help his defenders out.

They claim the Blues are considering ending Nathan Ake’s nightmare with Bournemouth, where he’s featured just twice in the Premier League since joining on loan in the summer.

The 21-year-old proved impressive during his stint with Watford last term, though the form of Charlie Daniels has largely kept the Dutchman at bay while on the south coast.

Those at Stamford Bridge are believed to have the option to recall him and farm him out elsewhere when January rolls around as his time under Eddie Howe looks to be an unhappy one.

Can Ake ever prove himself at Chelsea? Let us know below..
