The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are feeling pretty confident ahead of their next game…

Chelsea’s season is going pretty well so far, and whilst defeat against Man City in their last fixture was disappointing, Antonio Conte’s side is still in a good position.

Fortunately, Chelsea’s next game is one that they really should be winning, with a clash against Crystal Palace on the horizon.

The Eagles have had a tough season, and so Conte should be planning for a pretty convincing victory for the Blues.

That said, Chelsea’s last game against Man City certainly showed a few things, and whilst Chelsea should win this game, they can’t take it lightly. Thus, a few major changes will be needed.

So, given that, Conte should drop these 2 players against Crystal Palace on today – do you agree?

Willian

Willian didn’t start Chelsea’s last game, but Antonio Conte decided to bring him on in place of Alvaro Morata – and what a mistake it was.

The Brazilian looked really poor, and by the time the final whistle was blown, he was probably Chelsea’s worst player.

This is something that Conte can’t stand for, and given how much quality Chelsea have going forward, perhaps it’s time for Willian to sit this one out.

Expect Pedro to come in.

Gary Cahill

Gary Cahill has been slightly better since he returned to the side, but it’s tough to really say that he’s been at his best.

In general, he has looked poor this season, and Antonio Rudiger has really stolen the spotlight from him in recent weeks.

He’s a decent option, but if he wasn’t English, and he wasn’t Chelsea’s captain, then he wouldn’t be playing. And Conte needs to pick his team based on merit.

Step in Antonio Rudiger, who has looked good.
